Whilst partnered with Nike, the Gulf United brand identity was bad-boy, youthful, bold, but elegant and well-presented at the same time. The idea for this project was to demonstrate the prominent red and blue of the home kit in line with the brand identity, whilst showcasing the club’s state-of-the-art facilities.

The project was shot over 2 days in the height of the boiling Dubai summer. Shooting had to be adapted many times due to overheating of equipment– this was another shooting-on-the-go project which instilled in me true adaptability and flexibility.

Editing the project took around a week, with the soundtrack carefully selected to reflect the boldness and grass-roots nature of the club. Main editing softwares used were Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

Result
The campaign was a strong success, increasing academy trial sign ups by 20% the following week after launch and drawing praise from the Nike Head of Marketing in the Middle East.
