The target market of UK and American expats in the UAE was heavily researched and understood. User interviews and market research was conducted in order to discern what resonated most with the expatriate community.

We analyzed various brands identifed that none catered sufficiently to the large English and American demographic across the UAE, and so a brand identity which speaks and relates to the demographic was carefully curated.

Creative direction and video production was led by myself. The project was my introduction to serious 3D modeling and motion graphics work. Primary tools used were Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

The app created had over 5,000 downloads in the opening week and was ranked #3 in Fitness section in the UAE App Store as a result of the successful marketing campaign. Users reported that many explanatory videos highlighting key features, in addition to the main promotion, were the reason why they felt confident in using the app.
